Rangers will agree to a deal in the Hampden hearing, and SFA will approve the 49ers takeover.

The completion of 49ers Enterprises’ takeover of Rangers Football Club is expected to

receive permission from the Scottish FA.

The Ibrox giants appear to be ready to get the boost they may need to reclaim their position as

Scotland’s dominant force, even though Philippe Clement’s team has been finding it difficult to compete with

Celtic in recent years. According to numerous reports, negotiations between Rangers shareholders and

49ers manager Paraag Marathe are progressing, and the American consortium is expected to purchase

a majority stake at Ibrox in the upcoming months.

Rangers and SFA will have a dual-ownership hearing.
Even though the Rangers will soon have new American owners, they must first obtain SFA takeover approval.

The Sun stated on Thursday, February 20, that 49ers Enterprises must present its business

plan to Scottish football’s regulatory body in a “dual-ownership exemption hearing” before they can approve the purchase.

Since the 49ers own the bulk of Leeds United, the leaders of the English Championship, they will have to take this action.

It is understood that the SFA “are expected to give the green light – provided there are no

glaring conflicts” with the takeover, despite their restrictions against multi-club ownership.
