As two Coventry City transactions draw near, Frank Lampard gives a significant contract hint.
Frank Lampard has given away a lot about the future of his two senior
Coventry City players whose contracts expire in the summer:
goalie Ben Wilson and midfielder Jamie Allen are nearing the end of
their current contracts. Having played for the team for up to six years,
they are the longest-serving members of the Sky Blues team aside from Josh Eccles,
a homegrown player who came up through the academy system.
Although Lampard has only been with the team for a few months,
he has already rewarded Jake Bidwell with a contract extension after
being impressed by the seasoned defender, and the head coach has now
expressed high praise for Wilson and Allen.

it is difficult to come in mid-season.What I have sensed is Ben Wilson
has been coming back from his injury and he’s fit now, but his impact around
the team is tremendous. He is obviously a good goalie, so we are taking that into consideration and analyzing it.
I’m really talkative, so when Ben enters my office, I can’t persuade him
to go since he never stops talking. However, we have a very candid discussion with it, so we.
