Lyall Cameron of Dundee, who has made 108 appearances for the team and scored 27 goals along with 12 assists, will join Rangers when his contract at Dens Park expires in the summer. The Gers, Aberdeen, and an international team all expressed interest in the midfield player.Lyall Cameron, a midfielder for Dundee, has agreed to a pre-contract with Rangers.

When the 22-year-old’s current Dens Park contract expires in the summer, he will go to Ibrox.

After graduating from Dundee’s academy and making his first-team debut at the age of 16, he has played more than 100 games for the squad since 2019, tallying 27 goals and dishing out 12 assists.

“I am thrilled that we have reached an agreement for Lyall to join the club and to continue his career at Rangers come summer,” stated Nils Koppen, technical director of the Rangers.He is a gifted young player with a wealth of Scottish Premiership experience, and it is very important to all of us at the club to have young, Scottish talent in our first team.

Cameron’s transfer has resulted in the youngster receiving criticism from certain Dundee fans.

Tony Docherty, the manager of Dens Park, has guaranteed fans that the academy graduate will “give everything” for the team until the end of the season.

“I can reassure everybody that when he pulls on that Dundee shirt, he will be giving absolutely everything on every occasion,” Docherty stated to Sky Sports News.

“Every day he comes in here, he tries his best to improve something about his game. He wants to go on a high note because he is a perfectionist.
