Following Rangers’ departure, Kemar Roofe ultimately joins a new team.

On a temporary basis, the former Ibrox striker has joined Derby County of the English Championship.

Roofe, 32, will remain with the team till the season is over.

After being released by Rangers at the end of the previous season, the Jamaican international had

been without a club for nine months.”The 32-year-old has a contract with Pride Park

Stadium till the conclusion of the 2024–2025 campaign.

“Roofe, a free agent after his four-year contract with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership ended last year

, gives John Eustace’s attacking options more depth for the rest of the season.

“He has scored more than 100 goals in his club career, including 38 while playing for

Rangers in the league and cup and 29 in the Sky Bet Championship.”
