Gorringe, an executive from Bristol Rovers, is appointed by Swansea in a shake-up.

As part of several changes at the club’s top, Swansea City has named a new chief operating officer.

The goal of the executive team reorganization, according to the club, is “to strengthen the club’s financial,

operational, and strategic capabilities.”

Days have passed since Luke Williams was fired as head coach, and Richard Montague, the new football director,

began his duties at the same time.

After they had previously worked together in the US, chairman Andy Coleman brought in Ken Gude,

who is currently the company secretary and executive director.

The club says Gude, who was previously titled head of staff, will now

“To improve our performances on and off the field, we are making changes to our leadership team,

” stated Coleman, who oversaw the acquisition from the previous US ownership group in November.

“There will always be a period of transition after a takeover, and we’ve been busy working to

spot the gaps and areas that we need to improve to take this club forward.”

Longtime employee Gerrard Cassidy has been elevated to financial controller,

a position previously occupied by Gareth Davies, who was a part of the team during its Premier League tenure.

Ben Greenwood, meanwhile, has been appointed head of administration and operations for football.

The club’s executive management team now includes Richard, the commercial chief, Gude, Gorringe, and Montague.
