Marti Cifuentes, the manager of QPR, called Ilias Chair a “very good player” after he scored two goals against Derby County.
Last Friday night, QPR defeated Derby County 4-0 at home. The Hoops’ performance versus John Eustace’s team was outstanding.The 27-year-old Chair scored his season’s opening two goals. Ronnie Edwards and Koki Saito also found themselves on the scoreboard.
According to an Ealing Times source, Cifuentes has lavished Chair with praise, saying, “He is a very good player who can do well anywhere on the pitch.” Without a doubt, we want to ensure that he contributes positively to the squad. He is a crucial player, and tonight he shown his skill when he approaches the goal.
“They (Derby) played with a back four,” he continued.
The Hoops are just four points out of the playoffs and now sit in 13th place in the standings.
They have recently shown excellent home form and have established themselves as a formidable opponent at Loftus Road.
Chair has been a valuable member of the London team since joining the R’s in 2017.In addition to playing more than 250 games for them overall, he spent time on loan at Stevenage when he was younger.
The Morocco international played for Club Brugge, JMG Academy, and Lierse in Belgium before relocating to England.
