Atletico Madrid plotting transfer for £15m Leicester City star after failed January move

Atletico Madrid is still looking for one of Leicester City’s best players to join in the summer.

Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side is expected to look considerably different next season, with key players

out of contract or set to go.

Recruitment has been a major concern for the Foxes in recent years, and Leicester fans have singled

out Jon Rudkin as the source of their continuous problems.

PSR is still a danger for Leicester, but there should be money to spend, and they are already

considering at new signings.

Dario Osorio has been linked with Leicester City ahead of a potential summer move. Osorio, 21,

is expected to be the next Alexis Sanchez for the Chilean national team.

Outgoings are just as likely, and Atletico is keeping an eye on a player they coveted in January.

Atletico Madrid transfer news: Atletico still interested in Wilfred Ndidi

Earlier this transfer window, Atletico attempted to sign Wilfred Ndidi.
Their efforts were failed when Ndidi’s agent indicated he was staying at Leicester.
However, according to Caught Offside, Diego Simeone has not given up hope of signing the Nigerian

and plans to try again in the summer.

Ndidi was also linked with Monaco during the transfer season, but he has only recently returned to the first team after missing over two months with an injury.

The 28-year-old is regarded as one of Leicester’s greatest players and would require convincing to leave the club – unless they get relegated.
