claiming that Lamar’s performance of the diss track “Not Like Us” during the Super Bowl LIX halftime show adversely affected the Kansas City Chiefs’ gameplay, leading to their defeat.

The Super Bowl, held on February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, featured the Kansas City Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Lamar’s halftime performance included “Not Like Us,” a track known for its pointed lyrics directed at Drake.

Drake’s legal team argues that the performance was “malicious” and “intentionally disruptive,”

causing emotional distress to Chiefs players who are fans of both artists.

The lawsuit alleges that the negative energy from the performance created a “hostile environment,” leading to the Chiefs’ unexpected loss.
