Leeds United lodge record offer to land Celtic forward amid major competition from Brighton & Co.

Celtic will expect a record amount for Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn’s sale, and TEAMtalk can tell that Leeds United is one of the clubs interested in the winger.

Celtic are having a fantastic season and are on track to win the Scottish Premiership by a large margin. They have also had a successful European campaign.

As a result, a number of their players are being pursued by clubs in Europe and England, including winger Kuhn.

As TEAMtalk recently reported, both Brighton and Brentford have sent scouts to study the German winger and are keeping an eye on his position this summer. Sources have previously indicated that

Kuhn is interested in a move to England, and both sides would have a decent chance of landing him.

Record-breaking Kuhn wanted by big clubs

There is also strong interest in Europe from Champions League teams, which would push Leeds

down the pecking order. Celtic are hoping to collect a huge sum for the German, about £26 million, which would match their previous record sale.

Leeds want to bring in additional quality out wide and are considering a permanent transfer for

on-loan winger Manor Solomon. The Spurs man has been on fire for the club, and if they return to

the Premier League, a permanent move is extremely likely.

If that deal is finalised, Leeds will most likely lose interest in Kuhn and will instead focus on bringing

in a younger right winger to add depth to the squad.
