Hudson-Odoi, Awoniyi, Miguel – Nottingham Forest injury state of play ahead of crunch Fulham clash
Nottingham Forest return to the Premier League this weekend, following their FA Cup exploits on Tuesday night.

The third-placed Reds go to Craven Cottage to play Fulham on Saturday (3pm kickoff). It comes
after they were pushed to the brink of elimination by League One Exeter City in the cup midweek.
Forest won 4-2 on penalties after the fourth-round match ended 2-2 after extra time. Head coach
Nuno Espirito Santo was overjoyed to secure a home draw with Ipswich Town in the next round,
but the trip to Devon was not without cost. Below is an update on the Reds’ injury situation.
Callum Hudson-Odoi
Injury: groin.
What we know: Hudson-Odoi was forced off a few minutes after scoring a magnificent goal to give
his team a 2-0 lead over Southampton last month, and he has not played since. He had received treatment on the pitch against the Saints and was able to walk off alone, but he did not appear to be completely comfortable when he was replaced by Jota Silva in the 38th minute.
However, he has made progress since then and, after missing the previous three matches, might make his comeback against the Cottagers. He joined his teammates on a warm-weather training camp in Dubai before the Reds’ encounter against Exeter.
Taiwo Awoniyi
Injury: Broken nose and possible concussion.
What we know: A clash of heads in the 89th minute against Exeter resulted in a lengthy halt while Awoniyi underwent treatment on the pitch. The Reds striker was treated for nearly ten minutes
before being stretchered off.
He was later seen walking around the pitch, addressing Reds fans, and returned with the squad
because he did not need to go to the hospital. He is getting a mask fitted to accommodate his
fracture, and the club is waiting to see if they need to follow concussion protocols.
Carlos Miguel
Injury: hamstring.
What we know: The Brazilian backup custodian did not have the best of nights in Devon. He made
an error for the Grecians’ first goal, conceded another, and was forced to leave on the hour mark
after injured himself while taking a goal kick.
