Breaking News: End of Season for Rangers  player

It is possible that Rangers forward Abdallah Sima may not return to action this season.

The 22-year-old suffered a devastating thigh injury while on international duty with Senegal earlier this year.

Philippe Clement indicated that he will be absent for a couple of months and it’s believed to be a Grade 4 muscular tear.

Brar, a doctor of physical therapy and a sports scientist, spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his condition.

“He had a major thigh injury while on international service that necessitated surgery.

“His daily routine will consist of gradually increasing his strength, mobility, and neuromuscular control in the affected area while also maintaining fitness in other areas, all while managing pain and discomfort.

“The best case sounds like he returns in April and out and the worst case is around three months out which rules him out for the rest of the season.”

Sima’s absence is a major setback to Rangers.

The 22-year-old was one of the few players to hit the ground running since joining Rangers, and Philippe Clement will have been looking forward to his return after January.

In 20 league appearances, the Senegalese attacker has 10 goals and two assists, establishing himself as a trustworthy left winger.

He’s also played a few games on the right flank and remains a goal threat.

The club will be hopeful that he recovers fast and can resume where he left off.
