
As Philippe Clement under increasing pressure, the Rangers Fan Advisory Board confirms the Ibrox meeting.
The Rangers Fan Advisory Board have acknowledged that they had conducted a meeting with
Patrick Stewart and other members of the Rangers leadership team.
At Ibrox, the RFAB met with the new Rangers CEO and other important stand-ins to talk about a
“wide range of club issues and concerns.”The minutes of the meeting, which was held prior to Queen’s
Park’s defeat in the Scottish Cup, should be released soon.
Following the team’s shocking Scottish Cup defeat over the weekend, the Rangers board is
under increasing pressure to make its plans public.
Rangers Fan Advisory Board write to Rangers
The Rangers Fan Advisory Board acknowledged meeting with Patrick Stewart in a statement to fans.
The group have also claimed that they’ve been in touch with Rangers with regards the present
scenario concerning Philippe Clement.
Following the team’s disastrous exit from the Scottish Cup, which essentially ended the club’s domestic season in February,
Rangers supporters are incensed.
The RFAB says they have also been in contact with Rangers to “convey the strength of fan sentiment”
after the loss to Queen’s Park, as attendance is expected to drop and many supporters are demanding Clement’s dismissal.
