According to Jordan Blackwell of the Leicester Mercury, after missing last week’s game against Manchester United due to injury, Jamie Vardy, Jannik Vestergaard, and Victor Kristiansen should

all return against Arsenal.

According to manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, the three players were only absent due to “light injuries”

at the time, and Blackwell maintains they have all had plenty of time to recuperate.

Vardy and Kristiansen are anticipated to return to the starting lineup, with Vestergaard’s spot being threatened.
Wilfred Ndidi, who returned to play last Friday, is also available alongside the aforementioned trio.

Leicester lost eight of their nine Premier League matches during Ndidi’s hamstring injury absence,

more than they did in the 15 games he played. In the rematch with Arsenal, the midfielder also assisted.

That leaves Leicester with just two absentees against Arsenal, with Issahaku Fatawu out for the season and Ricardo Pereira not set to return before March.

With both squads fit, Arsenal should have an advantage against struggling Leicester. The hosts will start the weekend in 18th place, with the Gunners in second.

However, Arsenal will be missing Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, and Kai Havertz. The club will have many less alternatives than in its 4-2 victory over Leicester earlier this season.
