Newcastle United’s silent out-of-the-window acquisition, who comes from Wolves on a mission
Prior to the second half of the season, Newcastle United added Fraser Harper, an out-of-the-window acquisition, to their Premier League squad list.
After a good trial, the attacking midfielder signed a professional deal with Newcastle, although he will have the opportunity to make an impression in the reserve team lineup. After leaving Bristol City to join Wolves at the age of 13, Harper was recruited by Newcastle. The right-footed player will be eager to get into Eddie Howe’s eyeline during practice.
Harper scored twice and provided one assist in seven Under-18 games while wearing a black and white uniform. Previously, he had trials with Arsenal and Crystal Palace and made 49 appearances for Wolves’ youth team, scoring nine goals.

Harper will add another option to Newcastle’s second string as the club recently signed Kyle Fitzgerald and Baran Yildiz from Galway and Genclerbirligi, respectively. Howe has also promised to give any player who hits “the right level” a chance, and he has been an attentive observer at Whitley Park in recent weeks.
