Everton vs. Bournemouth: Sutton’s predictions
I went with Bournemouth to beat Liverpool last weekend, and they gave it a really good go.
The Cherries hit the woodwork twice and they were unlucky to lose in the end.
I can see Everton making a few changes here, because they play Liverpool in the rearranged Merseyside derby on Wednesday.
After three straight wins,
Everton manager David Moyes will still want a good performance to keep the momentum going,
but I am going to stick with my policy of backing Bournemouth.
I would love for Andoni Iraola to go strong in the FA Cup this season and go all out to win it;
even with their current injury problems, the possibility exists.
Based on that, I am picking the Cherries to defeat Everton again and complete a hat-trick of victories over them.
The Cherries have already defeated Everton twice this season,
first in August when they overcame a 2-0 deficit after 87 minute to win 3-2,
and then at the beginning of January when they won 1-0 in Sean Dyche’s final game as Toffees manager.
