This summer, eight Stoke City players are scheduled to depart as free agents.

Due to contract expirations at the conclusion of the season, Stoke City will soon lose a number

of first-team players. Manager Mark Robins will be considering his options with his players who

are not under contract as the team determines who to retain past the summer.

The Potters will have to make some significant decisions in the upcoming months as they determine

who to retain and who to let go in 2025. Newly hired manager Robins has only had about a month to evaluate his team thus far.

Jonathan Walters, the sporting director, is obviously accustomed to make crucial decisions because

Stoke permitted many vital first team players, including Tyrese Campbell,

to depart earlier this year when their contracts expired.

A pre-contract deal with a foreign club can be signed immediately by any Potters player whose contract

expires at the conclusion of this season, with the intention of moving abroad in June once the season is over.

However, it is unclear what decisions the boss and board will make in the upcoming months,

thus FLW has examined the eight players who are now scheduled to leave ST4 next summer.

After being loaned out to Blackburn Rovers in August, Baker has had a difficult season thus far

despite being one of the Potters’ longest-serving players.

The 29-year-old left Chelsea to join Stoke in January 2022. He had an incredible first season with the team,

becoming one of Alex Neil’s main players and being named club captain a few months later.
