Ahead of a possible Leeds United transfer, Spurs’ position on Manor Solomon was made public.
Manor Solomon is anticipated to be Leeds United’s sixth summer acquisition.
Solomon is expected to undergo a medical examination before to his anticipated transfer today
(Saturday, August 24) and is expected to sign a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
Solomon becomes the second of two new signings in as short a time as three days,
which was always anticipated to be a busy finale to the window at Elland Road.
Largie Ramazani of UD Almeria signed a four-year contract on Thursday,
marking the beginning of Leeds’ late summer hiring campaign.
Following the additions of Ramazani and Crysencio Summerville,
Leeds’ options behind the striker suddenly appear much stronger after
losing both Georginio Rutter and Summerville this month.
Does Leeds have the option to purchase Solomon?
With a new central midfielder and full-back already known to be on the agenda,
it will be interesting to watch what Leeds does over the next six days.
It will be interesting to see whether they add another left-footed attacker, though,
as Solomon does not exactly fit the criteria for a Rutter replacement because his best position is off the left.
Given that Leeds has made the most money this summer from player sales throughout Europe,
there is undoubtedly money to be spent.
