Eddie Howe confirms Joelinton injury after Newcastle United win

Joelinton was questionable for the game against Arsenal due to a knee injury.

That injury was verified last night, and the 28-year-old did not play in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final. He was there, though, since Joelinton was observed wearing a classic Newcastle shirt during the celebration. The Brazilian watched from the sidelines, something he will have to grow used to.

“I think he [Joelinton] will be out for weeks, not months,” says Howe.
