Unbelievable: Three players who Take’s a fee’ to leave Rangers in summer

In an effort to reinvest and bolster the defense, Chris Jack has speculated that Ben Davies, Leon Balogun,

and Leon King may all be planning to depart Rangers this summer.

A decision on Balogun’s contract will be made before Davies and King are let go, according to the Rangers Review

journalist, considering their lack of playing time.

It was reported that if the team is able to recover the players’ salaries, they may use the money

to either add a trustworthy backup or enhance the performance of current starters John Souttar and Connor

Goldson. Jack stated in an interview with The Rangers Review on February 21 that the management will

most likely  look into it come summertime. Ben Davies has struggled with his fitness and hasn’t featured

as much under  [Philippe] Clement. “He appears to be a person you would take back the fee,

reinvest the salaries in,and try to strengthen in that position come summertime.

Leon King is lower in the hierarchy, so it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if he moved on.

Balogun is one of the players whose contract is debatable. “I believe you could either improve it

and bring in someone better or bring in someone to provide competition there if you started the

next season with Goldson and Souttar as your starting center-halves.”

News of a Rangers transfer breaks before summer

In order to improve on Souttar and Goldson in defense, reinforcements will need to arrive as a result

of the three Rangers defenders who have been identified as possible summer departures.

With the defence centered around James Tavernier and Goldson, Goldson appears to have

a safe spot in the starting  lineup. He has been a terrific servant at Ibrox and has earned great

accolades for his efforts this season. Souttar, on the other hand, has been a consistent presence

for his teammates without truly standing out, but he has  always carried the risk of being benched

in favor of players like Davies and Balogun after a subpar performance. Although center back has

never been a particularly problematic position at Ibrox, there’s no denying that it might be

better, with Harry Souttar of Leicester among the previously suggested candidates.

Come summer, this will undoubtedly be a position to watch if Clement decides to move the defenders on.
