Unbelieveable ; Trio Rangers likely to be ruled out until early March with sports hernia injury

Rangers midfielder Kieran Dowell is likely to be eased back into training in early March, according to Dr Rajpal Brar

According to the injury expert, the 26-year-old would most likely be ruled out due to a sports hernia injury,

which is prevalent among football players.

He has been out of action since Gers’ 3-1 victory against Kilmarnock on January 2.

Brar, a doctor of physical therapy and a sports scientist,

spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his condition.

“The club did not provide many facts, but based on the timeframe and operation,

I believe he has osteitis pubis, sometimes known as a sports hernia,

which is prevalent in footballers.

“The best way to reintegrate is gradually and deliberately, with ongoing assessment.

“He will not return to training in February but will be eased back in early next month.
