A plan for Stoke City is revealed following a last-minute move for a Manchester United midfielder.
In terms of incomings and outgoings, Stoke City had a relatively quiet winter transfer window,
but it seems like they got things done. The big stories centered around loan recalls,
with Leicester City bringing back Tom Cannon from his Potters loan to sell him to Sheffield United,
and the Championship team then recalled a star loanee of their own, bringing Nathan Lowe back from
Walsall and including him in the first-team fold. Stoke City completed the signing of midfielder
Ruben Curley from Manchester United on Monday, and the young player will initially join the U21s.
Only two new players had entered by the 11 p.m. deadline, but Stoke City made it three on Tuesday morning.
A agreement to acquire youth midfielder Ruben Curley from Manchester United has been revealed.
The child’s developmental plan has now surfaced.
Curley will join the Potters’ U21 team instead of joining Mark Robins’ senior side right away,
according to the announcement of his arrival.
Curley, who is keen to improve on his impressive youth record and make his
first-team debut in the upcoming years, signs a two-and-a-half-year contract
with the squad after leaving Manchester United. He will, however,
continue to grow and make an impression with the U21s for the time being.
