Just In: Will Brighton’s disastrous match against Nottingham Forest be resolved if Albion supporters receive a complete refund?
That went smoothly, didn’t it? I was thinking back on the victory at Forest in 1979 and wondering

The Albion suffers their worst league loss in 68 years, losing 7-0. The biggest was a 9-0 loss to
Middlesbrough on the first day of the 1958–59 season; the only shaky connection to 1979 is that Brain
Clough scored five goals for Boro on that day.
Fans are still processing what really happened after the X certificate event at the City Ground a few days ago.

which on paper did look quite casual but left the Albion dangerously vulnerable at the back, and some others.
