
Just In: Joe Rothwell talks about whether he will be at Leeds United next season, saying, “It has been tough.”
Since Joe Rothwell joined Leeds United on loan from Bournemouth,
nobody could have guessed how excellent the midfield player has been.
The seasoned technician was one of Daniel Farke’s first summer acquisitions,
joining Leeds on a season-long loan. Leeds supporters, however, had differing opinions
about it and questioned whether he made the team better.
This is true even though Rothwell earned a Premier League transfer to Bournemouth
and brought a wealth of Championship experience with him. Even his four goals
during Southampton’s half-season stint weren’t convincing.
However, Farke thinks the German manager is correct that Rothwell has shown
Leeds supporters to be mistaken. The set-piece expert has performed admirably in midfield,
giving the Yorkshire team an additional dimension in

It’s unclear what will happen with Rothwell with 16 games remaining in the Championship season.
The midfield player’s contract with Bournemouth, which is reportedly paid £30,000 per week, is up in 18 months.
Rothwell stated in an interview with Don’t Go To Bed Just Yet’s deadline-day special that he has
not yet decided if he will remain at Elland Road once his Leeds loan expires and has not yet been
informed of the division they will play in the next season.
Since my kids are in school and I moved up without my family, this loan has been difficult.
Since I had no idea what will happen in the upcoming season, it wasn’t just a matter of moving them with me.
