The eight transfers that Nottingham Forest is currently considering ahead of the transfer deadline.
Nottingham Forest have been working tirelessly for around a month to try and get another player through the door.
The Reds have been linked with a number of players. Forest’s top target was Yoane Wissa, but he appears to be unavailable in this transfer window.
Wolves star Matheus Cunha has also been linked with Forest. With the Brazilian committing to the Molineux club by signing a new deal, that option is no longer viable.
Forest permitted James Ward-Prowse to make an early return to West Ham this morning. During the first half of the campaign, he made just 10 appearances and was not even on the bench last Saturday.
Rob Dorsett provides thrilling news regarding Nottingham Forest
The Sky Sports reporter is stationed at the City Ground, prepared for some deadline day deals to happen. At the moment, it still seems improbable, but not everything is lost just yet.
Dorsett asserts that Forest are still working to strengthen their squad with either a new striker or a speedy winger before the action comes to a halt until summer later tonight.
It remains to be seen if any new names will surface before the deadline. However, with Nuno Espirito Santo and his team in Dubai for warm weather training, it seems unlikely. Forest manager Espirito Santo has stated that he is satisfied with his squad. He has a preference for working with a smaller group of players, which likely eliminates the possibility of further connections materializing.
