Rangers now interested in signing £15m “elite talent” on deadline day
Glasgow Rangers are reportedly planning an ambitious deadline-day move for Philippe Clement in order to provide late reinforcements to their team ahead of the second half of the season.

The Ibrox side’s first half of the season has not gone as planned, with the club lying 10 points behind league leaders Celtic despite having played one extra game.

Although they were eliminated from the Champions League in the qualifying stages, they did secure automatic qualification into the Europa League knockout stages thanks to a good season in which they only lost twice, to Lyon and Manchester United.
So far this month, the Gers have only made one signing: Rafael Fernandes on loan from Lille to assist strengthen their backline.
Speaking after the 4-0 victory over Ross County, Clement expressed optimism that he would be joined by more fresh faces in the final hours of the window.
“We had talks to identify guys with the potential to help the squad and go to the next level. “We will see what is possible for the club in the next few hours,” he explained.
