Everton burst into life on deadline day with Alcarez contract – details
On the day of the transfer deadline, Everton is expected to come alive.
Over the past four weeks, Everton has yet to make their first signing, forcing fans to wait with
incredible patience.
With David Moyes returning and many players out due to injuries, Merseyside has seen significant change during that period.
However, no fresh talent has arrived at Goodison Park to support the 61-year-old’s squad.
Junior Dina Ebimbe is being negotiated by Everton, but it might be difficult to make a late move for
the midfield player at this time.
With three straight Premier League victories, the players on the pitch have been able to deliver.
However, Kevin Thelwell’s lack of output during the transfer window has been incredibly
disappointing.
Carlos Alcaraz ready to sign Everton contract
The Argentine, who is arriving from Flamengo, has Premier League experience from his spell at Southampton.
Journalist Bruno Lemos reports that the midfield player is scheduled to sign his deal on Monday morning after completing his physical on Sunday.
“Carlos Alcaraz will sign a contract with Everton tomorrow [Monday] after passing his medical,” he posted on social media.
“Everton ought to formally announce the player’s signing following the signing, which is scheduled for tomorrow [Monday].”
On Saturday, Alcaraz took a plane to England to start his physical at Finch Farm.
Alcaraz being prepared to sign his contract at Goodison Park is the ideal way for the Toffees to begin deadline day, even though it was left late.
