Jus In: West Ham is currently in a “good position” to sign Evan Ferguson following the agreed-upon trade.
The Hammers have benefited from the fact that Jhon Duran and Al Nassr have reached
an agreement in principle to bring the Aston Villa striker to the Saudi Pro League,

As a result, the Saudi Arabian team will no longer have to pursue Victor Boniface of Bayern Leverkusen,
which will reduce their need for another striker after they were rumored to be interested in
Ferguson [Dharmesh Sheth, 29 January]. This could allow West Ham to finalize a deal before the deadline of February 3.
