Sources: Compensation update emerges as Rangers set to seal new behind-the-scenes appointment
Rangers will not be paying any compensation to acquire the services of assistant manager Issame Charai,
Ibrox News has learned.
The Ibrox team are set to capture the services of Charai on a three-and-a-half-year agreement and he will be the principal
assistant to Philippe Clement, according per Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
Ibrox News understands that he is no longer contracted to Strasbourg so Gers will not be entitled
to pay anything to the Ligue 1 club.

Fans will be hopeful that Charai can assist bring about a change because Clement’s ideas at the club have grown stale.
He has served as an assistant at several clubs, such as Beerschot, OH Leuven, Strasbourg, and the Monaco Under-23 team.
The 42-year-old also had a professional career that spanned 12 years, with him calling it a day in 2012.
He then immediately moved into a coaching role and began his journey at Saudi Arabian side Al Faisaly.
It is still unclear if Charai will be replacing anyone at Ibrox, but his appointment is set to be officially finalised.
It appears that an announcement will soon be made, as the coach, who was born in Belgium,
has already attended a training session with the Gers first squad.
A Premier League team is currently in the lead to sign a crucial first-team player before the transfer deadline,
according to recent Rangers news.
