Wolves holding talks to sign £23k-p/w “colossus”
Wolverhampton Wanderers are fighting to stay in the league. Even though new manager Vitor
Pereira has picked up some important points, the Old Gold are still mired in the relegation zone
more than halfway through the Premier League season.
Wolves are in a slight risk of getting dropped because they only have 16 points. They are level on
points with Ipswich Town, who are in 17th place, and one point behind Leicester City. Everton
appears to be in a comfortable situation as they have 23 points and are ranked 16th in the rankings.
Some transfers would undoubtedly aid the Old Gold in their struggle for survival, but there is no denying that they have a difficult time remaining in the top flight. One defender has lately been connected to them.
Wolves target new defender
Kevin Danso, a centre-back for RC Lens and Austria, is the player in question here. After making an impression while playing for the French team, the 26-year-old may now leave the team before the January transfer window closes.
The Telegraph reported that Wolves are thought to be the primary team vying for Danso’s services.
He has reportedly been the club’s transfer goal “for more than 12 months,” and they may finally land their man.
They have already made a £16 million bid and are believed to be optimistic that a deal will be finalised
in the next few days. However, the Express and Star stated that the bid was turned down, and there
have also been reports of a second offer of about £18.5 million being turned down.
