Exclusive: Is Stoke City’s offer for Mark Sykes finally accepted by Bristol City?

In what could be a pivotal few days for manager Mark Robins and sporting director Jon Walters,

Stoke City is reportedly considering a late January transfer window move to sign Mark Sykes;

a bid was reportedly made to try to sign him from Bristol City. Sykes, 27,

checks a number of priority boxes for the Potters in terms of age, experience, and position.

His ideal role has been up for debate since the days when Michael O’Neill was lining him up to play for

Northern Ireland, though he ultimately chose to swear allegiance to the Republic of Ireland,
