Lars-Jorgen Salvesen, a striker, has joined Derby County from Viking, a top-tier Norwegian team, for a two-and-a-half-year contract at an undisclosed cost.
With 12 goals last season, the 28-year-old tied for second place in the Eliteserien, bringing his total number of league goals over two seasons with the Stavanger-based team to 22.
