Ipswich Town leading race to sign “explosive” new attacker

Ipswich Town is apparently in the lead to recruit another attacker before Kieran McKenna’s

deadline, having previously brought in Jaden Philogene and Julio Enciso this month.

New arrival After making an unexpected loan move from Brighton & Hove Albion, Enciso will undoubtedly be trying to establish himself in the upcoming weeks. After signing this week, he said

“I’ve had nice chats with the manager. He and the Club have my sincere gratitude for having faith

in me. I’m eager to get started. I will give every game my all because I am a true fighter.

But the Brighton loanee could not be the last person to leave. After earlier reports indicated that

those at Portman Road were on the verge of making an offer for Ryan One, Ipswich has made

their first move to recruit the 18-year-old from Sheffield United, according to Graeme Bailey of

The Boot Room. Ipswich is currently leading the race to sign One.

The Championship kid is definitely someone to watch as he is already leaving his impact on senior football for the Blades. Ipswich may need to move fast if they want to sign him before the deadline

on February 3, as Liverpool, Brighton, and Tottenham are also apparently interested.
