Following the acceptance of Nathan Redmond’s proposal, Frank Lampard claims that Birmingham City is performing well in the transfer window.

According to reports, League One Birmingham City is a “known admirer” of Nathan Redmond, a former Blues and Premier League player.

Compared with their summer spending, Birmingham City has been quiet this transfer window. However, if possibilities present themselves, they remain open to quality acquisitions.

Due to an injury, Nathan Redmond has been forced to spend the first half of the season on the sidelines. However, as his recuperation draws to a close, he might be prepared to act.

Journalist Darren Witcoop claims that the gifted winger, who is currently under contract with Burnley, is drawing interest from a number of teams, including Birmingham City.

Redmond wants to stand up again.

Redmond began playing for his boyhood team, Birmingham City, in 2010. Since then, he has had a fantastic season, making more than 200 Premier League games.

Prior to joining Burnley in 2023, he had stints with Southampton, Besiktas, and Norwich City. He also has a 2017 senior England cap.

Despite only making 15 appearances and playing 300 minutes of football overall, his tenure with the Clarets has not been good. It would not be unreasonable for the Championship team to be willing to let him leave, even though this has been caused by injuries.

Although his previous injury history will worry Birmingham City, they have the depth to take their time and make the best use of him. He is only thirty years old, so assuming his ailments don’t become worse, he may have a few more years to play.
