Derby County Football Club can announce that they have given Chelsea Football Club permission to pay Kieren’s salary.

The 23-year-old has found his feet in League One,

scoring seven times in 24 appearances, which piqued the eye of Championship club Hull City, who recently signed him to the MKM Stadium.

Swansea fans should appreciate the irony that Joseph, who was traded to Blackpool to complete the deal for Yates,

is now playing in the Championship, whereas Yates is no longer with the club.
