The forward may be leaving Rangers permanently following a summer transfer from the previous season.
Sam Lammers may be shipped out of Rangers permanently this summer.
The Dutch forward arrived at the team last summer from Italian team Atalanta in a deal reportedly worth around £3.5 million.
However, it hasn’t worked out thus far. Before being loaned to Utrecht, he played 31 games for Rangers.
He was one of former manager Michael Beale’s summer additions, but after Philippe Clement arrived, he lost favor. Nonetheless, since
returning to his own country, he has made an impression with a few of his performances in the Dutch league.

Lammers has a goal and three assists in his six Utrecht appearances in addition to his two goals and two assists for Rangers. Now,
sources in the Netherlands state that FC Twente may launch a £2.5 million bid for the 26-year-old.
The year before he joined the Rangers, they were interested in him. Although that bid was rejected, given his recent improvement in
form, they might return to the table. There is no buyout option attached to his loan from Utrecht, and FC Twente is in a much stronger
financial position to attempt a seven-figure move.
Kees Luijckx, a former NAC Breda player who is now a Dutch TV pundit, recently lauded Lammers and stated that since returning
home, he has been a breath of new air. “Sam Lammers is very important for the team,” he stated.
“Not just for his objectives, but also for Utrecht’s desired style of football play. Lammers is just a wonderful resource for Utrecht.”
