Juventus requests that Chelsea be given a second chance to sign Douglas Luiz as the star’s position on the transfer
This month, Chelsea has the chance to sign Douglas Luiz, a former midfielder for Aston Villa,
and they are thinking about putting in a bid. Manchester City and Arsenal are also monitoring the situation.
With a new defender, midfielder, winger, and forward on their wish list,
the Blues are preparing to attack during the last two weeks of the transfer
season while being extremely busy behind the scenes. Luiz, a defensive midfielder for
Juventus who has been made available for transfer to the Turin-based team, is reportedly being considered by Chelsea.
Even though Luiz only signed from Aston Villa last summer in a deal worth about £42 million,
Juventus boss Thiago Motta has determined the Brazilian is not part of his long-term plans.
The 26-year-old’s agents have been putting a lot of effort into finding a solution,
and TEAMtalk has learned from sources that Chelsea has been given the chance to bid.
The former Villa player has had offers from teams vying for European berths in
England and other countries because he is eager to stay at the top of the game and play in the Champions League.
After excelling while playing for Villa, where he scored nine league goals in
35 games the previous season, Luiz is eager to return to the Premier League.
Juventus is willing to let go of Luiz this month in order to recover the money they spent on the midfield player.
