Sam Lammers may be shipped out of Rangers permanently this summer

The Dutch forward arrived at the team last summer from Italian team Atalanta in a deal reportedly worth around £3.5 million. However, it hasn’t worked out thus far. Before being loaned to Utrecht, he played 31 games for Rangers.

He was one of former manager Michael Beale‘s summer additions, but after Philippe Clement arrived, he lost favor. Nonetheless, since returning to his own country, he has made an impression with a few of his performances in the Dutch league.

Lammers netted twice with two assists for Rangers, and has a goal with three assists in his six Utrecht outings. Now according to reports in the Netherlands, FC Twente could make a £2.5m move for the 26-year-old.
