DONE DEAL: Bayern Munich, Alphonso Davies agree on all details for new deal, announcement confirmed
Bayern Munich and the camp for Alphonso Davies appear to be done their dance…with the end result being a new deal for the Canadian star.
According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich is expected to make an announcement “soon”, which would put the tense situation to rest for the club and its fans alike:
Agreeing to a contract with Davies will eliminate the need to go out and find another left-back on the market — a proposition that was expected to be very expensive.
Davies’ signature would follow the signing of Hoffenheim midfielder Tom Bischof, and be the second big deal of the month. Now, the focus should turn to the respective signings of Jamal Musiala, Joshua Kimmich, and Leroy Sané.
The outlook for the 2025/26 squad is slowly taking shape.
