Nottingham Forest could land dream £26m Hudson-Odoi upgrade this month
Dreamland is where Nottingham Forest is located. The East Midlands team appears to have a good chance of making it to the Champions League and competing among Europe’s best for the first time
in decades, as they are currently halfway to qualifying.
With just Arsenal and Liverpool ahead of them, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team is presently in third place
in the Premier League. They are four points above the top four, which also includes Newcastle United, and they are undoubtedly well-positioned to qualify for the Champions League this season.
They have played excellent defence, giving up just 20 goals, with Arsenal being the only team to give
up less goals (19). This season, their offence has also been lethal, and Callum Hudson-Odoi has been
a member of that attacking force.
Forest could land dream Hudson-Odoi upgrade
The player in question is Baris Alper Yilmaz, a winger for Galatasaray. Sport Witness reported earlier this week that the East Midlands team “has been watching the Turkey international” and may try to
sign him during the January transfer window, according to a report from Turkish news site Fanatik.
Numerous Premier League clubs expressed interest, according to additional sources, and a projected
fee of about €30 million (£26 million) was raised.
The 24-year-old may leave the team in January because of his fantastic play for the Turkish power
houses this season.
He has scored 11 goals in 27 games across all competitions, including 10 goals in 18 Turkish top-flight games. Last weekend, Galatasaray defeated Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1, and he scored both goals.
The 24-year-old Galatasaray man will contribute variety to the Forest attack. He has played eight
games as a left-winger, nine as a right-winger, and occasionally as a full-back this season. That will provide Nuno great flexibility.
