Harry Kane x Mohamed Salah at Bayern Munich: Liverpool superstar seal transfer that will give England striker ‘better chance to win trophies’

Mohamed Salah could agree a transfer to Bayern Munich and give Harry Kane a “better chance to win trophies”, claims ex-Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann.

Hamann, who also graced the books at Bayern during his playing days, is among those watching on from afar as Egyptian superstar Salah runs his contract at Anfield down. Various landing spots for the 32-year-old forward are being rumoured, from Saudi Arabia to Paris Saint-Germain.

Salah is yet to reveal where he sees himself heading in the summer of 2025, meaning that a switch to Germany could be on the cards. Bundesliga giants Bayern boast the kind of ambition that would appeal to any player on the planet.

Hamann has told BestOffShoreSportsbooks.org: “Mohamed Salah has been thriving under that pressure for the last 10 years. He’s been scoring goals, he’s been creating goals. I think he’ll be a success wherever he goes.

“I don’t think there’s any league where he wouldn’t be a success. Obviously his age comes into it, but the way he’s performed and how fit he is, I think he’s got at least another couple of years at the highest level. If he went to Bayern Munich he would continue being such a success like he has at Liverpool, but they might be one of 10 teams on his doorstep if he does announce that he is leaving.”

A move to Munich, which would see him follow in the footsteps of former Liverpool team-mate Sadio Mane, would allow Salah to link up with another prolific presence in the form of England captain Kane. Hamann added on that potential partnership: “Harry Kane likes to play with quick wingers like he does at the moment with Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sane and Michael Olise – he’d jump at the chance to play alongside Mohamed Salah. Salah in the Bayern squad would give Kane a better chance to win trophies and it could make for a great partnership if that happened.”

Kane has registered a further 22 goals for Bayern this season, including four hat-tricks, but is still waiting on an elusive major silverware. Salah, who has won just about everything in England, is looking to land more Premier League and Champions League winners’ medals before bidding farewell to Merseyside.
