Rangers are “convinced” about two big-money stars ahead of possible Moves

The 18-year-old striker was one of three Rangers players who returned to the starting lineup after injuries in a B team friendly against Carlisle United.

The striker played 45 minutes in the Rangers Training Centre bounce match against Carlisle,

which ended 1-1, and Lovelace stated afterwards that he hopes it marks the beginning of a more serious comeback.

Zak Lovelace spoke to RangersTV after playing for the club’s B Team in a friendly against Carlisle United.

The striker claims he is pleased with his injury improvement so far and hopes to regain form and fitness before returning to the club’s first squad.

“I was quite happy,” Lovelace remarked. “David (McCallum) warned me previously that I might start.

“So I had to just get myself mentally ready to start again and kind of push on to where I was before.”

“It feels fine, man; nothing has caused any problems with it.

“So, as I previously stated, I am simply attempting to return to my former level of sharpness.

“I still have a few things to work out, but I’ll be back soon hopefully.

“Hopefully I’ll get 60 against Dundee and then push on from there to get 90 the game after.”

Ibrox striker speaks up. Rangers boss Philippe Clement sent several peripheral first-teamers down for B Team/Academy duty against Carlisle United.

With David McCallum in charge of the B Team, Leon Balogun, Ben Davies, Nicolas Raskin, Leon King, Bailey Rice, and Robby McCrorie all started the match.

In terms of experienced heads dropping down to B Team level, Zak Lovelace stated that the entire experience was completely positive.

“It was a good game, and they are a good team,” Lovelace remarked. “We were pushed to our limits.
