DONE DEAL: German defender Phil Neumann to join Birmingham City

Birmingham City have announced the summer 2025 signing of German defender Phil Neumann.

The 27 year old, six foot three, centre half is currently plying his trade in the second tier of German football with Hanover 96 and will join the English side in July.

A graduate of the Schalke Academy, the former German Under 20 international spent 2017-2019 with FC Ingolstdat before three seasons with Holstein Kiel ahead of arriving at Hanover in the summer of 2022.
