
There is a clear hope that Nottingham Forest may sign a player and contribute something for Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Record, Sporting Club de Portugal is looking for a suitor to take Marcus Edwards off their hands, even if a percentage goes to Tottenham. The Portuguese club is evaluating various options to get rid of the forward.
Sporting Club de Portugal is hopeful that Nottingham Forest would increase their interest in Marcus Edwards and take him off their hands, despite a percentage going to Tottenham.
According to the article, Edwards’ future will lie outside of Alvalade. The Portuguese club is considering numerous options to get rid of the attacker.
That may be a loan or a permanent arrangement, as long as they can secure €8-10 million. However, they are ‘open to a transfer’.

Any agreement for him will see Sporting take 65% of the money, with Tottenham taking the remaining 35%. That was the agreement reached between the two teams when he moved to Portugal in 2019.
He first joined Vitoria Guimarães on a free transfer before joining Sporting for €7.75 million in January 2022. Tottenham have maintained their stake in him since then. As a result, they will earn a share of any future transfers.
