Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani earned a spot in the starting lineup against Harrogate Town last week and seized the opportunity with a standout display, scoring the winning goal in the second half.

As the Whites prepare to face Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road, they are still searching for their first league victory of 2025 after dropping points in their last two matches.

Daniel Farke now faces tough selection decisions following Leeds’ FA Cup win over Harrogate, a game that had the potential for an upset as the League Two side arrived for one of the biggest matches in their history.

However, Leeds secured a 1-0 victory with Ramazani delivering the decisive goal. The Belgian winger timed his run perfectly into the box as Mateo Joseph pulled two defenders away, allowing him to head home a well-placed cross from Manor Solomon.

Ramazani registered three shots on target in an impressive attacking performance, influencing much of Leeds’ forward play both on the wings and through the middle.

Despite his talent, he hasn’t been a regular starter due to the squad’s depth and his recovery from a long-term ankle injury. But his performance at Elland Road was a strong reminder of his quality.

With rotation inevitable after the Hull City draw, Ramazani’s display—albeit against lower-tier opposition—makes a strong case for more starts. Farke now faces the tough decision of who to drop between Solomon, Dan James, or Brenden Aaronson, but Ramazani has certainly earned his place.
