Jason and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs Give a heartfelt statement about the tragic Super Bowl parade shooting.

Brothers Travis and Jason Kelce responded to the tragic shooting that took place during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade on Valentine’s Day by releasing an emotional statement on Monday.

Prior to Wednesday’s pre-recorded episode of their New Heights podcast, the Kelces wanted to discuss the terrible tragedy that engulfed Kansas City. The brothers also urged their supporters and admirers to support the team’s fundraising efforts on behalf of the victims and their families who were impacted by the horrific attack.

Travis addressed the message to the “92 percenters,” the fans of their show, in the video that was posted to Instagram. “It didn’t feel right without you guys hearing from us first,” he said, prior to the release of their pre-recorded Wednesday episode.

“We just wanted to say, our hearts go out to all of the victims, their families, Chiefs Kingdom, and really all of Kansas City,” Jason said in his moving message. That was truly present on a day intended to honor the community, and the events that took place are regrettable and extremely tragic.

“We also want to thank the local law enforcement that sprang into action, the first responders on scene,” the Philadelphia Eagles center continued. and everyone who has offered to assist those impacted by this catastrophe.

The Kelces went on to say that they are still “figuring out a way” to support all of the initiatives aimed at aiding the victims. For the time being, though, they’re hoping that the supporters can band together as well and contribute to the Chiefs’ fund to help those in need.

Travis Kelce’s Response To The Shooting At The Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Parade

Travis Kelce has responded to the horrific Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade shooting before, but it’s wonderful to hear from him and his brother about their efforts to help.

Following the horrifying assault, the Chiefs tight end became distraught and expressed his suffering to the entire city.

“I am deeply saddened by the tragedy that occurred today. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who joined us in celebrating and was impacted. I love you so much, KC,” Kelce wrote on X.
However, Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Chiefs, stated he is praying for the community. In an effort to help the victims even more, he went on to found the charity #KCStrong.

One person lost their life and 22 others—many of them were children—were injured in the Chiefs parade shooting. There are still some injured people in critical and serious conditions.

Regarding the attackers, two suspects were detained and charged; however, due to the fact that the attackers are both minors, specifics regarding the attackers are being withheld.
