Just in: Team news | Ange’s report on Timo, Fraser returns to training

Meanwhile, Ange was asked for an update on goalie Fraser Forster,

who has missed our last four matches owing to sickness.

“He’s back in training and had his first full sessions this week,” he told me.

Ange also stated on Friday that Ben Davies was available for Sunday’s match against Everton,

while Yves Bissouma and Brennan Johnson were doubtful.

Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, Rodrigo Bentancur,

Wilson Odobert, and Timo Werner are all out with injuries for our final trip to Goodison Park,

where Everton will move to a new stadium at the start of the next season.

Ange Postecoglou has stated that Timo Werner would miss some time due to a hamstring problem.

The forward sustained the injury during our FA Cup third round victory over Tamworth last weekend,

ruling him out of the north London derby at the Emirates on Wednesday evening.

Ange stated that Timo will undergo tests earlier this week,

and when asked for an update in his pre-match press conference on Friday, Ange responded:

“He had a scan, he has a hamstring tweak, so he’ll be out for three to four weeks.”
