Norwich City make move to land 11-goal ace after Cardiff City interest
Ricky-Jade Jones, an attacker for Peterborough United, is being pursued by Norwich City.
The Canaries have made an inquiry for the 22-year-old, according to Darren Witcoop, who reported
on X.
Ronnie Edwards and Ephron Mason-Clark both flourished at the Weston Homes Stadium last
season, demonstrating how Posh has been able to produce some outstanding players in recent
years.
Although both players have since moved on, Kwame Poku and other quality players are still
worth watching for Darren Ferguson’s team.
Jones, who made some respectable contributions in the season’s last third, is another player
who has just become a true star.
Norwich City among teams keen on Ricky-Jade Jones
Norwich, according to Witcoop, have sent an enquiry to Peterborough over the availability of Jones, ahead of a potential January window swoop.
Cardiff City, the Canaries’ league rivals, thought it would be a good idea to bid for the 22-year-old as his contract was about to expire in the summer, but their recent approach was turned down.
That might make it possible for Norwich to sign the forward, but Johannes Hoff Thorup’s team will have a difficult time doing so because other international teams are showing interest in him.
