Celtic Boss Slams Flop as Rangers Legend Calls Out Celtic’s Issue

Celtic struggled to find their best form in a 3-3 draw against Dundee at Dens Park on Tuesday, with Arne Engels‘ stoppage-time penalty salvaging a point for the Hoops. Dundee had twice come from behind to take a 3-2 lead, thanks to goals from Oluwaseun Adewumi, Aaron Donnelly, and a Cameron Carter-Vickers own goal, following Celtic’s Yang Hyun-jun and Luke McCowan strikes.

Despite their comeback, certain Celtic players, including £9million striker Adam Idah, faced heavy criticism. Former manager Neil Lennon urged Idah to improve, highlighting missed opportunities and lackluster play. Lennon also stressed the need for Idah to better link up with teammates and remain central in attacks.

Defender Auston Trusty also came under fire for being overpowered during Dundee’s goals, with Chris Sutton criticizing his lack of intensity. Kris Boyd, former Rangers striker, added that Celtic’s left-side defense is a growing concern ahead of crucial Champions League fixtures, calling for improvements from both Trusty and the team as a whole.

Celtic will need to address these issues ahead of key upcoming matches.
