Alabama’s Ryan Williams Earns FWAA Freshman All-American Honors: Roll Call, January 15, 2025
On Tuesday, the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) named Alabama standout Ryan Williams to its Freshman All-America Team.
This marks Williams’ fifth All-America recognition, adding to honors from On3, Pro Football Focus, and 247Sports, along with a second-team selection from the AFCA. He also earned first-team All-SEC and Freshman All-SEC accolades from coaches and was a second-team All-SEC pick by the Associated Press.
Williams led Alabama with 865 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, ranking second on the team with 48 receptions. His eight touchdowns were the second-highest in the SEC and among Division I freshman receivers.
