According to The Mail, Pep Guardiola has eyed the German international as a potential addition
and wants to strengthen his midfield.

the article reads.Having passed on Declan Rice during the summer transfer window, Pep Guardiola seems eager to bolster his defence midfield options.
“Kimmich has long been linked to Barcelona; however, a move for him fell through because of
their financial limitations.”It is said that in the summer, the Catalan giants will reexamine their
interest in Kimmich.However, Pep Guardiola reportedly wants to get back together with the highly regarded German defensive midfielder, according to Football Espana.
“The reigning European champions will think about whether to move for Kimmich during the
summer,” according to The Athletic.
The 28-year-old’s Bayern Munich contract is scheduled to expire in 2025.
